The Fairbanks Community Band is a wind and percussion ensemble for adult musicians. We have a concert band, a jazz band, and a summer band which plays outdoor concerts. Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for adults to continue making music beyond the high school and college years, and to pass our enjoyment of live music on to the community in which we perform. Next Activities

All times given are the time we begin to play. Please allow time to park, set up for the event, tune, and generally be available for the downbeat before the start time. Unless otherwise stated, band members should be available for setup, sound check, and tuning 30 minutes before the stated time.

Concert Band:

Next rehearsal is 1 of 1. Including July 06, 1 rehearsal remains until the concert on July 08.

Next concert: Wednesday, July 08, 7:00 pm. at Golden Heart Plaza Fairbanks Festival Concerts Series.
Dress: Polo.

Jazz Band:

Next rehearsal: Wednesday, July 08, 7:00 pm. at Old Train Depot .

Next concert: Saturday, July 25, 8:30 pm. at Pioneer Park outdoors Pioneer Park Mug Up (2 hours).
Dress: Tan and blue.
