- J. W. Pepper & Son supplies much of the new music ordered by both concert and jazz bands.

- Brasscast is a 25 minute podcast of brass band music and music by community bands produced once a week for your entertainment and to keep you informed of events in the world of band music.
- Audio and video recordings
- YouTube offers many recordings across the full spectrum of genres. It is a particularly good source for learning music you haven't played or heard before.

is a member of the Austin Symphonic Band. He maintains a large list of community music groups from around the nation and around the world. Browsing through the list will give one an idea of the current popularity of community bands and orchestras. He also runs a discussion list if you want to visit with other musicians.
